Unwrapping UVs
This doc goes over unwrapping UVs for your custom Avatar in Roblox using Blender.
Select 'UV Editing' at the top of the Blender Window.
In 'Edit Mode', select all the polygons that you would like to be one color and finish.
If you are using a gradient texture, go to a side view and use 'Project from view' in the UV menu. If you are using a simple texture, any UV approach is fine.
Right mouse click in the UV window, and select 'Align Vertically'. If using a simple texture, apply 'Align Horizontally' as well.
Position your aligned polygon to the color, gradient and finish.
Continue process until all polygons are assigned where they need to be.
